Exactly forty years ago the first IVF-child was born!

Louise Brown, whose parents made that life-changing decision, celebrates her birthday today!
Louise came to this world on 25th July 1978 in the city of Oldham (Great Britain).

The invention of such an essential technology has helped millions of people to become happy parents. This wonderful example inspires us to work hard every day!

WHAT IS SURROGACY?

Surrogacy

Surrogacy is a kind of assisted reproductive technologies, when the future baby is born not by the genetic mother of the child, but by the surrogate mother (gestational courier).

This method of treating infertility is the only chance to become a mother for a woman who, for certain reasons, cannot bear the child on her own, when the health effects of carrying the baby and childbirth can be very serious.

If you want your baby to be born healthy, without risking the life and health of his mother and genetically connected with you that’s when you need to use surrogate motherhood technology.

Surrogate motherhood
in Ukraine

There are countries where surrogate motherhood is completely prohibited (Austria, Germany, Norway), where it sometimes used, but not regulated by law (Belgium, Greece, Ireland), where it permitted, but should be voluntary and commercial (Canada, Australia, UK) and countries where the laws regulating the surrogate motherhood process are clearly spelled out, Ukraine belongs to such countries.

In Ukraine, there is well-regulated legislation on such aspects of infertility treatment as surrogate motherhood, sperm donation and egg donation.
